What We Do

A core activity since 2016. We seek to acquire several companies with the intention of owning them forever. Currently we own two companies as General Partner – ACP CreativIT and ABCO Systems. We target acquisitions of well-run, family-owned businesses with $50-300M of annual revenues and no clear succession plan. We are not interested in auctions, but rather are interested in paying a fair price and for the business to be in the right hands for the long term.

We seek significant involvement in a few private companies and/or PE firms, similar to our prior involvement with Blackstone and its portfolio companies. We have also added capabilities through The Zaf Group portfolio operations team. Nominal ownership is a possibility we would consider.

Our newest alternative investing arm is constantly looking for emerging long-term growth opportunities.

We give back to causes and places that mean something special to us, such as: Macedonia 2025, Lurie Children’s Hospital, Chicago Public Schools through AUSL, Special Olympics, faith-based organizations, and various educational institutions.
